DESCRIPTION
After a properly good pint? The Good Beer Guide 2027 is CAMRA's annual list of the pubs and breweries worth your time, now in its 53rd edition and fully revised for the year ahead. Every pub in it earned its place on the say-so of CAMRA members who went in and had a drink. No paid listings, no favours, just thousands of volunteers with strong opinions about cask ale.
Inside you'll find recommended pubs right across the UK, all pouring the real stuff, plus a complete run-down of British breweries and what they make. Whether you're planning a crawl, a walking holiday or simply want to know where the decent pint is in a town you've never visited, this is the book.
This year's foreword comes from Sir Ian Rankin, creator of the Rebus novels and a devoted regular at Edinburgh's Oxford Bar (so devoted that Rebus drinks there too). He's a Deuchars man with brewing collaborations with Caledonian and Innis & Gunn to his name, so he knows his way around a bar.
Pop one in with a Pub in the Post and the lucky recipient gets the beer, the snacks and the next 52 weekends sorted. Seriously useful.
