Dill and pickle crisps want a crisp, citrussy pour to play against the tang - a session IPA or a hazy pale does it best, the bright hops cutting through the acidity while the lighter body keeps things refreshing between handfuls. A sharp cider works too if you fancy leaning into the sourness.

SNACKINGHAM 'CLASSIC' with NEW ENGLAND IPA
Snackingham earns its keep against a bold, hazy IPA. The caraway seasoning has a menthol brightness that cuts clean through the murk, while a mild sweetness from the pork rounds off the dryness of the hops. The bigger and juicier the beer, the better it holds its own.

SNACKING CHEESE 'TRUFFLE' WITH STOUT
The earthy, savoury depth of the black truffle wants a rich, malty stout or porter behind it. The roasted, chocolatey weight of the beer stands up to the truffle rather than getting lost, and the whole thing turns properly indulgent.
A SERIOUS DIRTY MARTINI
Give your favourite briny classic a smoky lift with a garnish of flame-grilled olives. One to sip slowly and look sophisticated over.
SNACKINGHAM 'CHORIZO' WITH IPA
The smoky paprika and gentle warmth of the chorizo want a beer with some punch to it. A citrus-forward IPA does the trick, the crisp bitterness keeping the richness in check while bright tropical hops play against the spice. A little malt depth in the beer meets the smoke and ties the whole thing together.
