The Serious Pig & BrewDog Big Night In is our biggest beer box: six BrewDog beers, ten packs of our Great Taste Award winning snacks, a proper beer glass and a set of tasting notes to tell you which goes with what. It’s a pub crawl in a box, minus the queue at the bar and the walk home.
BrewDog need little introduction. The Scottish brewery that dragged craft beer into the mainstream still makes some of the most drinkable beers in the country, and we’ve picked a proper spread of them. Punk IPA, the hoppy, tropical one that started it all. Hazy Jane, soft and juicy and dangerously easy going. Lost Lager, a crisp, clean pilsner for when you want something simpler. Black Heart, a velvety dry stout with coffee and dark chocolate running through it. And Shore Leave, a rich amber ale full of caramel and biscuit. One for every mood, and a couple spare.
Then the snacks, and there are a lot of them. Two packs each of our Crunchy Snacking Cheese, Snacking Cheese with Truffle, Snacking Pickles, Corn Scratchings and Sausage Flavour Crisps. We’ve done the matchmaking for you: the truffle cheese is made for the stout, its earthy richness standing up to all that roasted malt; the salt in the scratchings takes the edge off the lager and makes it smoother still; and the sweet, peppery crisps bring out the caramel in the amber ale.
It comes boxed and ready to give, with a heavyweight glass so nobody has to drink from the can. A very good birthday, Father’s Day or Christmas present for the beer lover in your life. Or an excellent excuse to cancel your plans.
