Our all lager gift hamper brings together four crisp beers from across Europe and the UK. Hawkstone Premium Lager, bold but balanced with a light citrus note, matured for six weeks in the Cotswolds. Camden Hells, London’s clean, dry crowd-pleaser. Pilsner Urquell, the world’s first pilsner and still the benchmark. And Budweiser Budvar, the Czech original, no relation to the American one. Expect clean, refreshing malt flavours that sing alongside our snacks.
And there are plenty of snacks. Two packs each of our Great Taste Award winning Crunchy Snacking Cheese, Snacking Pickles, Spicy Snackalami, Sausage Flavour Crisps and Corn Scratchings. The scratchings were practically made for lager: the salt takes the edge off the bitterness and makes the beer smoother still. The cheese’s mature tang plays nicely against the citrus in a good pilsner, and the spicy salami gives the whole thing a bit of a kick. A heavyweight beer glass and a tasting card round it off.
