We've rounded up five of Britain's best-loved ales. Timothy Taylor's Landlord, the Yorkshire pale ale that has been CAMRA's Champion Beer of Britain four times. Fuller's London Pride, the capital's amber ale and about as reliable as a pint gets. Shepherd Neame's Spitfire, all marmalade and pepper from Britain's oldest brewer. Adnams Ghost Ship, a light, citrussy pale from the Suffolk coast. And St Austell's Proper Job, Cornwall's take on the IPA, which is exactly what it says it is.
